The early part of December has proved very busy indeed for members of St Clement Church.
The Churchyard and Bell Close Sanctuary have been cleared of the undergrowth but with careful regard to the resident wildlife and flora. A future project for these areas was introduced by Rev Diane at a recent Committee meeting and a discussion followed regarding possible voluntary participation by the local community.
Two Christmas trees have been installed by Ken and Terry, one of which has been donated to the pupils of Pencalenick School, who will decorate their tree in preparation for their annual Christmas Carol Service in the Church. We also welcomed a group from the school when they came to say hello at the Coffee morning on the 7th of the month. They joined a group of hikers, a member of the local police in addition to our regular visitors and everyone expressed appreciation of the delicious fare, the warm church building and the wonderful fellowship that existed.
Notices have been posted throughout the area regarding the Carol Service on the 17th, the Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, and the Christmas Day Service. All are welcome.
